I.T Garage Brake Servicing
Do you think about checking your brakes? Obviously effective brakes are the most important features of any vehicle and yet a surprisingly large number of motorists don’t get them checked as frequently as they should. A change in the seasons, periodic services or before a lengthy trip are all good times to have them checked. At I.T Garage services, our highly qualified and experienced technicians will run a number of tests on your braking system, so that you get a comprehensive picture of all key performance indicators. We would always recommend a full health check done on your braking system.
I.T Garage Brake Servicing
During a disc brake service all components are lubricated, inspected and checked for serviceability. An Anti-squeal compound is always applied when the disc pads are replaced, the callipers are lubricated where necessary. All factory shimming, springs and alignment mechanisms are inspected including the brake calliper seals, calliper function, brake hoses, disc rotors, wheel bearings and brake fluid condition. When the brake fluid condition is poor, we recommend replacing the fluid and flushing at all brakes which is usually done at a 2 year or 30,000 m interval. This prevents component damage caused from moisture absorption from within the system.
